I just finished listening to both chapter 1 and chapter 2 of COLAD and I must say it was amazing. The voice actors are doing a great! I especially liked Sasuke's voice, very well acted. I loved the Snake's evil laugh, it was very...well, evil I suppose. A+ for Songbird 21 for writing the story and A+ for the actors and those who worked on the raido play for making it sound so good. I can't wait until the next chapter comes out! cool

*Starts clapping.* I'm impressed. Reading the story was great, but I'm thinking hearing it is even better. Also that laugh made me shiver, thats a hard thing to do grin. I do so hope you guys keep up the good work on this. cool

I have to say, this voice acting is amazing. Sasuke is the best. Sasuke's voice is really well done. Great voice acting for great writing.

You mentioned your VAs could use some props...

Chapter 2 was nice! Chapter 1 is still my favorite and will probably always be my favorite. But I was fond of chapter 2.

I must admit, I was a little disappointed when Lucien was replaced by Liam... but it didn't last long. Liam might not be up there with his predecessor but he's still pretty great. His yelling might need a little work. (I guess it's the lack of Japanese accent when pronouncing Sakura's name and how his voice seemed a tad lighter is what got me.) But when speaking low and intent, it was golden. I loved his last sentence!! ("You'd better not die on me, Dobe.") It made me swoon!!

Naruto surprised me. His voice sounded too young to me when I first heard it. But then I warmed up to it. He can still sound tough and yet... youthful. Nice going!

Sakura was okay. Her best part was when she yelled at Sasuke for the first time. It really sounded like her!

Hinata was wonderful on this chapter. Her voice was the light one I'm used to!

Kyuubi was great! I didn't expect that! Orochimaru was perfect. Perfect. If that isn't the same guy, he could've fooled me.

All in all. It was a pretty sweet chapter. I can't wait for #3. Finish soon!!!!

I know this is a little late, but I'd just like to congratulate you all on chapter 2! I think every VA did an amazing job. This is BY FAR the best radioplay I've heard!! I wish I could help you with your Sakura problem, but I'm afraid my voice might be too deep, maybe. -_- Don't know, it sort of depends. But I'd like to wish you luck with your search and the rest of the radioplay! You're doing a wonderful job!

I think these are great! Only actor i didnt like was reaper's Kyuubi. If you could find someone with a deeper voice i think it would be better. even still scince he doesnt really pop up too much later on it wont matter. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Oh yea and i got goosebumps whenever Nick Tiner did the Orochimaru. That was just creepy.

A truly outstanding effort by all concerned. Such a cracking good story along with great voice acting and production really shows a lot of dedication.

Now I have another reason to get my Naruto fix on Saturdays. heh. I'm really enjoying this radio play. Sasuke and Hinata's VA's are my faves so far. I'm looking forward to part 3. (wonders how Kakashi will sound in later chappies... embarassed )

Eh...What happened to the other Sasuke? I liked him better.

Kyuubi's voice sounded...off.

Hinata's voice was better in this chapter than it was in the other one.

That was so cool! I love it! It was like almost real voice of characters from Naruto and others. I wish you put more 'Radio Play' soon. I can't wait to hear it again. laugh cool Put it up good work.

i finally got around to listening to the radioplay, and it was so cool cool
orochimaru was perfect! you could visualize the evil grin on his face, and that laughing was really realistic to his character *evil laugh*
so hows progress on radioplay for chapter 3?

I just finished reading the first COLAD and then discovered the two radioplays.
It's the first time I've seen/heard of someone doing such a thing and it's really cool.
I wanted to add some constructive criticism though on top of a compliment.

The acting is great and it had me giddy in my seat (even after I had already read through it), i just want to say that the narrator from the first radio play sounded a bit too mechanical, but i loved to way the second narrator went through the story. Her grace in telling the story is astounding. I suggest finding narrators that have a grace about their voice, to better strike the listeners interest.

(oi, just noticed that the writer herself is the narrator in this chapter. tongue )

no worries, I'm just glad you're working so hard on COLAD. my sister was reading this one fanfic that had a huge cliffie!!! but the author abandoned it, so thanks for sticking with us cheesy

Well, the main problem right now is hunting for the right sound FX. I don't really think anyone can help w/that part. grin

I listened to both and they are awesome! I have to admit, Sasuke's voice bothered me a lot in the first chapter (too emotional) but the second was better. I like how Naruto is played by a girl. That will really help when he matures later in the story XD.

I was sad to see the other Sasuke go, but this one, *checks name* Liam Brennon, is doing pretty well for himself! cool Both Sakura and Naruto sound better than they did the last chapter. Yay for you guys! You're improving! (And fairly quickly too. Nice work) Hinata, too, I think the voice suits her better this chapter. I like it! It reminds me of the Japanese Hinata voice we know and love, which has to be a good sign. Kyuubi...felt a little off, but I imagine it would be hard to find a good voice for a character like him. Afterall, he isn't human.

And Orochimaru! Brilliant! The laugh was pure genius! Genius, I say! (I'd rant more, but I think this is long enough) laugh

Not much more to say... The sound effects for the footsteps sounded a little wierd. *ducks* All criticism is meant constructively, with zero intent to offend!

Overall, I think this was a better effort than the first one! Well done!

I possibly could create something like that. Here is what I would ask. Stone or metal roof? How many footfalls between leaping from roof to roof?

Actually there is an easier way, but you might have to spend 5 dollars.

There is a site called sounddogs.com that actually sell sound effects. I found 5 versions of someone leaping onto a rooftop and then running. Could use that in a loop.

Thanks. I won't be doing the narration in the next chapter though. I have lines for Tsunade and it'd get confusing. Lol.

Unfortunately I really do need the official sound or it just won't sound right.

I am not sure you can get that without finding a episode with the sound and trying to isolate it.

I dunno, I just saw a new post and went to check it out, and he said mac, and I was too busy to read the whole thing, Ill probably do it here soon though, unless he responds *shrugs*

This is even better than the real series! The voices sound so like them (Kyuubi's is a bit higher toned, but it's hard to copy the voice of a 1000 year old demon fox tongue). Oro's laugh sent chills down my spine, he was that good shocked.
